Seattle-based tech company Avanade is planning to build its first U.S. engineering hub in Tampa.
The company, which provides tech solutions and cloud services to Fortune 500 companies including Microsoft, is expected to bring 500 new entry- and senior-level engineering, data and software development jobs to Tampa over the next three years.
While Avanade plans to have a physical office in Tampa, it will also offer remote positions. The company plans to partner with local colleges and other schools to offer career training.
Avanade currently has 56,000 employees in 26 countries. Last year it reported revenues of $2 billion.
