The Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office raised $11,000 in February for the local Humane Society, which was the office’s featured monthly charity.
The Humane Society of Pasco County is a no-kill shelter run solely by volunteers and community donations.
“You have all helped to save the unwanted and abused animals of Pasco. They thank you and we thank you so much,” said Suellen Szesyski, president of the Society’s Board of Directors.
“It was an honor to help raise funds for a charity with a mission to help lost and hurting animals no matter the cost,” Tax Collector Mike Fasano said.
