Leadership Tampa Alumni awarded Troy Manthey, CEO of Yacht StarShip and Pirate Water Taxi, the 2021 Parke Wright III Award at the group’s Annual Meeting last week.
Established in 2002, the award is presented annually to a member of Leadership Tampa Alumni who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and has impacted the Tampa Bay community. Manthey was in the 2003 Class of Leadership Tampa.
Manthey is a fifth generation New Orleans riverboat captain. Since 2001, he has developed deep roots in Tampa Bay’s civic and business communities, including recently serving as chairman of the Board of Directors for Visit Tampa Bay.
