TECO Peoples Gas will have new leadership come December. COO Helen Wesley will assume the role of President after the retirement of T.J. Szelistowski, who has been a part of Emera’s Florida operation for 42 years.
Wesley has worked in the energy sector for 30+ years. She came to Peoples Gas in 2020 focusing on investing in emerging energy solutions that will play a part in a clean energy future.
Statewide, Peoples Gas serves 425,000 customers who depend on the utility for clean, reliable and affordable energy.
Szelistowski and Wesley are working closely together to ensure a smooth transition.
