A number of insights were presented by prominent local leaders at the recent Urban Land Institute Tampa Bay’s 2017 Trends conference. Among them:

– New restaurant concepts are driving the retail market.
– Millennials are attracted to areas with art, music and culture.
– Cities grow when they support small business.
Over 300 professionals in various real estate related fields attended the annual event, which was held at the new Bryan Glazer Family Jewish Community Center in West Tampa. The conference is one of numerous education and networking events ULI hosts throughout the year.
