PikMyKid Closes $1 Million Investment

by

Frustrated by the hours wasted in his daughter’s school carpool line, Pat Bhava began to improve the flawed system. The result: PikMyKid, a mobile and web-based platform that simplifies the after-school dismissal and pick-up process.

It’s working. More than 50 schools in 14 states are using the app to communicate with parents.

Florida Funders, a Tampa-based organization that makes investing easier for accredited investors and early-stage capital more accessible, partnered with Orlando-based FAN Fund to complete the $1 million investment. PikMyKid plans to expand its staff and continue product development, marketing and customer acquisition.
