Historic buildings come alive in Ybor City

Historic tours, like the annual Buildings Alive! Ybor Architectural Hop, take visitors behind the scenes of Ybor City’s most storied buildings.

One of the stops was the J.C. Newman Cigar Co., which opened in the E. Regensburg & Sons cigar factory in 1954. Its Cuesta-Rey cigars remain one of the most popular premier cigar brands in the world. Explore the two-room museum, and plan for the full tour in 2020.

Or visit The Florida Cane Distillery, located in the 1904 El Encanto building. It is open daily, and you can watch the distillery process in the historic building.
